Meet the Assistant Principal

Toshia Blue, Blanton Elementary

Toshia Blue

Welcome to Blanton Elementary!

My name is Toshia Blue, and I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal here at Blanton Elementary. As a CFB alumni with a pathway from Good, Perry, and Turner; I am completely invested in our district’s mission and vision to promote a family growing our youth. I have two teenagers that are at Newman Smith High School and I am heavily involved there as well.  At Blanton, we understand the importance of building positive relationships with our students and families. We are a dedicated learning community focused on teachers and students working together to ensure every child is successful.

With over 18 years in education in both public and private schools, athletic coaching, teaching, instructional coaching and administration has taught me so much about how to help promote teaching the whole child and coaching everyone to reach their full potential.  I understand the important role parents and families play in the lives of our students, and I am eager for the opportunities to work together. I am focused on building our community and being involved.

I have earned a Masters Degree in Education for Teacher Leadership from Walden University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from University of Texas at Dallas. I utilize my skills and experience to promote a safe and healthy school environment for students, teachers, and staff, to ensure Blanton students receive the best education from the best school in Texas.
