Hello and Welcome to Blanton Elementary! 

My name is Dr. Tricia Badillo, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Blanton Elementary. After serving in various roles in education for over 30 years, I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every Blanton Bulldog has a successful and joyful school year. As a leader in Me Lighthouse School, we believe in fostering strong relationships, setting high expectations, and creating opportunities for students through our STEM program, leadership opportunities, and academic excellence. 

I began my career teaching in Abilene and later served in CFBISD and Coppell ISD as both teacher and assisstant principal. Along the way, I earned my Master's in Educational Leadership from UT Arlington and a Doctorate in Education from Abilene Christian University. Through each role, I've carried one core belief: with support, effort, and love, every child can succeed. I believe in each teacher, each student, and each family at Blanton! 

Outside of school, my husband and I are the proud parents of seven in various stages of adulthood, and we also enjoy life with our two dogs. I look forward to partnering with you to celebrate growth, embrace challenges, and create joyful learning experiences for all of our students.
